THE STUDIO AT PENRALLT :

The Studio at Penrallt is owned by Helen Beazley, artist and author (the writer of the Lavender Road series - written as Helen Carey) and her husband, Marc Mordey.

We aim to provide unique art at affordable prices.

Helen's art is based on her interest in wildlife, architectural detail - particularly old buildings, and an abstract vision of the beautiful places in Wales and beyond. Helen has sold her work in London, USA, South America and, of course, Pembrokeshire.

Marc specialises in quirky photographs and photocards which he sells under the Reasons to be Cheerful label. He has a range of unusual views of the area and aspects of Pembrokeshire life.

We have enjoyed an excellent first year of opening the Studio ; some 450 people came to visit, and, besides winning the West Wales Summer Art Exhibition at Picton Castle, Helen has sold 40 paintings and has 6 commissions for the winter months. Marc's photos and cards have also sold verywell. For that reason we are concentrating our energies during 2008 on producing a new body of work - but we will be open for visitors (see opening times for further information).

Helen will be exhibiting work at Picton Castle during 2008 (see links page for further information) and has invitations to place her work in London as well.
